Sadly I didn't take any before photographs of the room before we totally gutted it, redecorated and put up Expedit units to fill one wall.
Under construction - a couple of friends had said that Mr P wouldn't be able to put up these units without help and would probably need at least two people to help him - Mr P took that to be a challenge and managed to do the whole thing on his own.
Yes he looks very smug having managed to do it all himself!!!
And at last I have got most of the cubby holes sorted out - still needs a little bit of refining!!
I'm trying to label everything so that I can find stuff quickly - all my cardstock is stored by colour now.
All my papers are stored either by manufacturer or theme
None of the space above has been wasted -
And I managed to squeeze this slimline unit on wheels into the little gap that was left at one end - thickers, embossing stuff/heat gun, envelopes and stamps that I don't use much are kept in here.
Sadly I have had to let Mr P have 3 cubbyholes for his
Stuff that I craft with all the time is stored in a corner of the dining room -
My favourite stamps are kept in the tall unit and embellishments, inks and glitters are kept in the smaller unit. All my card and paper scraps are kept in the two pink RUBs and cardmaking papers that I am currently using are in the papermania holders. The green, blue and red boxes house my favourite dies and punches. The pink basket on top of the smaller unit is my Promarkers storage - I will show that in more detail in another blog post.
Wow! I'm so envious Karen. It looks super organised. I seem to spend more time looking for what I need, than actually crafting with it!
ReplyDeleteWow! That new storage looks totally amazing, its so neat and tidy and should make finding stuff so easy :) Lovely to see, thanks for sharing. x
ReplyDeleteWell done Mr P! Hope it helps you find stuff more easily, Karen - how does it feel? Looks great, too!
ReplyDeletevery impressed!
ReplyDeleteWell done Mr P! Love the units and it's what I want too.
ReplyDeleteAnd after seeing what's in them I wish I could look through it all ! :)
