January is always one of those quiet months for me, a chance to catch my breath after the busyness of Christmas and New Year. One job I had been putting off all last year was putting my layouts away into their correct albums, so I spent 3 hours putting 58 layouts into 7 albums.
That then got me in the mood for organising and a job I had been planning for ages was to put all my dies onto magnetic sheets and store them in Stampin Up cling stamp cases. It took 3 hours to condense 46 die sets into 9 cases.
And that is where the big re-organisation ended. Up next is sorting all my small sentiment stamps into cases so that I don't keep losing them and to remove the small sentiments from large sets so that all my sentiments are stored together - I will put that off to another month!!
Once Christmas is out of the way I start getting really excited about things to look forward to in the New Year. It is an odd numbered year and that can only mean one thing - Marillion conventions to look forward to. Once again we are doing 2 conventions - the European one in The Netherlands and the UK one in Wolverhampton. So I have 2 countdowns on the go - only 22 days till we will be in Port Zelande with all our lovely friends from around the world for 3 crazy days. And it is 43 days till we do that madness all over again in Wolverhampton.
Craftwise I made 21 cards, 12 Christmas cards, 2 layouts and 5 Journal Your Christmas pages.

whoa - not only productive but super organised!
ReplyDeleteThat's a job well done! I've got lots of putting away to do and I keep putting it off..
ReplyDeleteIt feel so satisfying doesn't it? I have a few jobs like this on my to do list :)
ReplyDeleteWell that's certainly a great way to start the year as you mean tot go on - how organised! I'm still marvelling that you have 46 die-sets! No wonder they needed a good system - I bet everything's much easier to find now.
ReplyDeleteAnd I wonder if those 2 new LOs you made have gone straight into albums too? [Or had you worn yourself out by then?] ;-)
Thanks for joining me once again Karen - I've popped you on the board with the other statistical summarisers:
