And so another Monday rolls around, so it must be time to go and wave at Sian over at From High in the Sky.
It was a disorientating kind of weekend - our monthly Sunday crop has now moved to a Saturday in a new venue - it was very strange getting packed for a crop on a Friday evening and then I spent all day Sunday thinking that it was Monday - I am sure in time I will get use to it.
Anyway we had a lovely time in our new venue - we managed to get 9 of us for the first one and hopefully in time we will get some more to join our merry band of crafters. The hall is lovely, bright and airy. I made a lemon overload cake as a treat for everyone.
The weather was awful on Sunday so we just had a quiet day at home, sorting stuff for upcoming holidays and I continued to work on finishing my Shetland/Orkney travel journal.
Today has been a typical Monday with lots of laundry to do, a quiet week with few appointments beckons so I will hopefully get time to do more work on fundraising stuff which is now only four weeks away.

I'd sign up for your crop if I lived close by! I'd love to come (especially if there's cake..)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great week ahead
Looks like a great place for a crop! Sure you'll get used to it soon. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad the new group/venue was a success. Your fundraiser seems to have come around mighty quickly!
ReplyDeleteThat new venue space does look very inviting - lots of table space to spread out & nice light. Oh laundry, yes must go & get a load or two done. Happy week to you.
ReplyDeleteYour crop venue does look roomy and filled with light - very inviting.
