Happy Birthday Dad

Today it is my lovely Dad's birthday and this is the card that I have made for him using Penny Black stamp 'London Calling'

I hadn't thought about it but Mr P asked if I had chosen this image because Dad can now speak on the phone after his successful cochlear implant last year.  The sentiment is also Penny Black, the border punch is Martha Stewart and the star punch is Stampin' Up.  The patterned papers are from the Craftwork Cards 'Love London' pad.

I am entering this card into the Penny Black and More at Allsorts February Challenge - 'Anything Goes'

  1. I love that you picked the perfect stamp without even realising it!

  2. What a great card, and yes oh-so-appropriate!

  3. What a delightful birthday card you made. I just received my Valentine postcard from you - thank you. Llangollen Canal sounds delightful & such a universe guided choice, my Mother's family is from Wales. Thank you again.

  4. I love how you chose exactly the right stamp. I bet your dad will love it

  5. What a lovely card and how thoughtful of you without even thinking about it. Shows the love that shines through xxx

  6. Lovely card Karen, I'm sure your dad will love it, always nice having a happy accident that works out so well!! Txx

  7. Such a fabulous PB card.

  8. Richard and I might be sharing a brain. I thought you gave him a London card because of your time spent in London *getting* the cochlear implant! I love the stamp and the paper... Cameron loves London so I should get more London themed crafty bits.

  9. A gorgeous card karen. I love the London scene you have created and I am sure your Dad loved it.
Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us at Penny Black and More this month and good luck in our prize draw.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a comment, I do read all of them and they are really appreciated.

Karen xx
