Mum has recently been in hospital for a big op so I made her this little get well card
The stamp is from Cuddly Buddly - they sell some gorgeous teddy bear stamps. The mounts have been embossed with a Crafts Too embossing folder.
I wanted to take her in a little pressie to cheer her up and as much as she loves flowers they never do well in a hospital atmosphere and they also get in the way. It then struck me to make a hospital survival kit and to fill it with all those little essentials that would come in handy for a hospital stay.
I included in the bag - extra strong mints, antibacterial hand gel, lip salve, dry shampoo, tissues, handcream, mini hairspray and a body spray.
She was really pleased with the bag and anything that she hasn't used will come in handy for holidays and travelling.
A close up of the gift tag
Now that Mum is home I can now treat her to some flowers - I will definitely make up one of these kits again for someone having to stay in hospital as it was very well received.
