A trio of layouts

I am on a bit of a mission at the moment to use up some of my ever-growing pile of scraps and kits.  Recently I went through my kits and pulled out all those that look like they only have the potential for one or two layouts left in them.  I then sorted out some Page Map sketches that looked like they would be good for using up scraps and then matched up some photographs to the papers.

This is the first one using a Sarah's Cards kit from October 2010 - Crate Paper 'Restoration'

 

I coloured some white Pebbles alphabet stickers with a bright orange Promarker to match the layout but they have hardly any sticking power so I am going to have to put more adhesive on the title.  The flowers are from my general blossom stash and the gemstones are Prima.  This is us about to embark on our 2007 cruise Round the UK on Boudicca.

The next layout uses Fancy Pants 'Happy Together' which was the 2011 January kit.  This is the 5th layout from that kit and there is definitely enough left to make another one.

The title is a Crate alphabet and the butterflies were punched with an EK Success punch.  I coloured the plain pearls with a Walnut Promarker.  The central shape was cut using a Technique Tuesday frame as a template.  The photographs are from our canal holiday on the Lancaster Canal last September.

I did this layout for a weekly challenge on UKS a couple of weeks ago - the remit was to use spring colours, to use fabric or ribbon and the theme was food.  This layout is about my nephew Harry and how he bought in his own food supplies on our boat trip last year.  I used Cosmo Cricket 'Togetherness' which were leftovers from a class kit from last year's Sarah's Cards retreat.

I still have plenty more almost finished kits to use up so watch this space!!
