Blogtoberfest 2014 Day 4 - Beat the Christmas Rush Part 2

Apparently it is World Cardmaking Day today - well I won't be doing any cardmaking today as I am off to an album launch in Swindon for the band Pendragon but in true Blue Peter fashion - here are some that I made earlier!!

Another set of production line cards for Sue's Beat the Christmas Rush, this time using the new tree punch with matching stamps from Stampin' Up.

A lot of the stamps in the set are two step stamps and as they are totally clear they are really simple to use, you don't even have to use your Stamp-a-ma-jig.

The pot is stamped separately and cut out and the star is punched from red glitter cardstock with the new mini star punch from SU.  All the papers used are scraps from various manufacturers including Dovecraft, SU and Kanban.

I used Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler ink and highlighted the red areas with Candy Cane Stickles glitter glue.

  1. They are lovely and I like the embossed edges to your squares - are they die-cut?

  2. Oh, these are great. I really like the embossed edges too. It's such a great set for mass producing.

  3. Great cards, good to get them made early before you get too busy. Thanks for joining in with BlogtoberFest 2014, keep up the good work.

  4. I absolutely love your cards~ Nothing better than receiving a one of a kind card~ Lynn @ Turnips 2 Tangerines

  5. Oh yes I love these, Karen. Thanks for joining in BtCR again. :)

  7. Lovely cards - those stamps are so versatile :)

  8. Cute!!! As it's November now I am looking for some simple card designs and I am digging for my SU Christmas set too. :) I love these!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a comment, I do read all of them and they are really appreciated.

Karen xx
