Blogtoberfest 2014 - Day 2 - Throwback Thursday

On Thursdays I am going to share some of my layouts and crafting made before I started blogging or stuff that has been sat in my 'to be blogged' folder for eons.  I started scrapbooking back in 2004 when there wasn't the array of products and papers that are out there now.  So please forgive the simplicity of some of the layouts, especially the ones that I am sharing today.  I only had one alphabet for my die cutting machine so often use to draw around chipboard letters to make my titles.

These are from my holiday album for 2006 and are from the Baltic Cruise that we took that summer.

The chef made Mr P some rice pudding as every night he kept asking the waiters when it was going to be on the menu.  It didn't take him long to polish off two bowls!!

Gosh hasn't my style of scrapbooking changed since those early days!!

  1. It's always fun to look back and it makes you realise how spoilt we are for choice now. Love the Russian costumes. At first glance I thought they were pirates!

  2. My early pages are in that style too. And yes I used to draw round letters as well. It's good to look back - makes me wish I had written more on some of my very first pages

  3. lovely photos - I think we all made our pages in a similar way back then, certainly that struck me when I was looking back for my Throwback picture! Nothing wrong with simplicity though LOL

  6. Mine still look like that. A bit. :) I spy some of the good old HOTP stuff! I had it too. I think the LO I made with that was of Cameron and I making Quesadillas. :) Perhaps I will see where that one went. I think I was blogging it at the time, back on my MSN blog before it became Windows Live. That's probably disappeared into the ether by now! I remember seeing those for the first time and I still love the Night To Remember paper.
