Daniel's First Christmas

I did this layout recently for a weekly sketch challenge on UKS.

You had to use this sketch

And also use rich colours, rick rack and a fabric embellishment.  I used Basic Grey Wassail papers and added some gold Bazill Bling to mount the photographs on.  I found some lovely gold rick rack in my ribbon stash and the two fabric flowers were leftovers from a Sarah's Card kit from last year.

These photographs are from one of my nephew's first Christmas back in 1992 - I don't know where the time has gone because he was 18 this year.  I punched the flowers with EK Success flower punches and used a 12" sizzlet border die to cut scrolls which I cut down to use as flower stems.  The title is cut using Sizzlet border die 'Santas Workshop'.  I really enjoyed using this sketch and will possibly use it again as it is so pretty.
