Last year I signed up for Shimelle's online Journal Your Christmas class. Once you sign up you are in it for life but I have decided to have a break and not do it this year. Instead as I didn't have my blog last Christmas I will share with you what I did for last year's JYC.
I used an American Crafts d ring 6x6 album and made all my own pages from Kraft cardstock. I decided not to do the pages in page protectors as some of my pages would open out or have elements on them that could be opened and I didn't want people having to take the pages out to see them properly.
On day 1 a declaration was made about taking time out each day to think about Christmas, past, present and future.
I didn't buy any specific new supplies for the project apart from the album and cardstock. I used Christmas themed paper and embellishments that I already had - it was a great way of using up leftovers from kits and other projects. For my date on each page I used a small journalling stamp by Stamps Away and used See D Whimsy number stamps for my dates to keep a theme running from each page.

Looks great, very neat writing :)
ReplyDeleteLooks Fab Karen, I have looked at this class a few times but don't think I would ever manage to keep up with it though!
