All Porked out - Scrapology September Challenge

I was thrilled to be asked to be guest designer for September for the Scrapology blog.

As always there is a great sketch to follow and the theme for this challenge is E for Embossing - dry or wet.

I used a mixture of Fancy Pants papers - Road Show and Lilac House and a photograph from our Rhine River cruise last year.  Sadly we didn't choose a great company to go with for the trip and we lived for the week on a wonderful diet of pork.  I am not the greatest lover of red meat and apart from a bit of bacon rarely touch pork.  I felt really sorry for the lady in our party who was a vegetarian and was given a plain omelette every day for lunch and evening meal.  DH came up with the title - when he saw what photo I was scrapping he said 'Oh don't use that picture of us - we are all porked out!'

(Click the layout photograph to see the detail better and the journalling)

The flowers were punched using EK Success retro flower punches and were then dry embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, the pearl centres for the flowers and on the butterflies are from Sarah's Cards. The title is foam thickers and I used Martha Stewart and Stampin' Up border punches

A close up of the flowers -

You can find details of the challenge here and I look forward to seeing what everyone creates this month.
