Blogtober 2015 Day 31 - Spooky crafting

Well we did it - 31 days of blogging!!  I hope you have enjoyed it, thank you to all those who joined in and thank you especially to those who took the trouble to leave so many comments each day.

Well it is Halloween today so I thought I would dig into the blogging vaults and find some spooky themed layouts and cards I have done in the past.

Blogtober 2015 Day 30 - 3 Happy Scrappers

I found out about the Scraptoberfest Challenge on Gemma's blog and thought this was a great idea.

There are four parts to the challenge -

Use this sketch set by The Memory Nest

Use this colour scheme set by My Scraps and More

Use a photo of yourself set by Challenge YOUrself

Use at least two different types of washi tape set by Scrap Our Stash

And for a further challenge Wendy suggested that myself, Sy and her should all do a layout using the same photograph.

So here is what I came up with to fulfil all these challenge criteria using a photograph taken at our July crop earlier this year.

The papers used are Simple Stories 'Vintage Bliss', Imaginisce 'Welcome Spring' and MME 'Kate & Co'.  The badge and doily came out of a Papermaze monthly kit.  The title was cut out of foam using Tim Holtz 'Wanted' alphabet die.  I used the washi tape in my embellishment clusters.

Don't forget to visit Wendy and Sy's blogs to see what they did with the same photograph!!

Blogtober 2015 Day 29 - Penny Black Christmas cards from the vault

I found some Christmas cards from last year that I haven't blogged yet.  They are all Penny Black stamps.  Most of the papers used are magazine freebies and the sentiment mats are Stampin' Up punches.

Blogtober 2015 Day 28 - Watercolour Wishes Thank you cards

I have found some thank you cards that I forgot to share when I did my mini series on thank yous.

These are made with Stampin' Up Watercolour Wishes Card kit - great for making very quick and easy cards and after the kit has been used you are left with a lovely set of sentiment stamps that you can use over and over.  I did actually buy the kit as it was the only way to get the sentiment stamps!!

Jessie's pages (I think they all know that I love Marillion!!)

Julia's pages

Lee's pages (I did really laugh to see that she had included Merlin one of the dogs at Meadow Barn - he was responsible for getting me covered in mud and pond weed at our 2014 visit)

Linda's pages

Lisa's pages

And finally Tara's pages

I will admit that I had a good blub when I opened the album and read all their lovely messages.  You guys are really the best xxx

Blogtober 2015 Day 26 - 50th birthday album - part 1

Every year I go away to a beautiful converted barn in Hereford for a weekend of craftiness and madness with a bunch of fab ladies (and a few guys thrown in for good measure).  Secretly the little rascals colluded to make a lovely book for my 50th birthday last year.

It is the most beautiful hand-crafted item I have ever been given and I will treasure it forever - I am so lucky to have all you lovely people in my life and as friends.

I wish the camera would pick up how beautifully the cover sparkles and shines.

Alison's pages (sent all the way from Australia)

 Alun's pages

Carin's pages

Dee's pages

Denise's pages (sent all the way from South Africa)

Fiona's pages (I love these Marillion lyrics xx)

Gemma's pages

Thank you all so so much, I just adore the book - tomorrow I will share the rest of the book
