Day 2 of Blogtober and I am sharing a layout made at my August scrap class. This time Anita had a lovely layout for us just using Bazill cardstock - not a scrap of patterned paper in sight.
I used some photographs from our 2013 trip to Guernsey and a lovely day trip over to the beautiful island of Herm. The swirls were die cut and the sunflowers were made using Woodware daisy punches and punched circle centres which I coated with glossy accents.
The sides of the cardstock were punched with a Martha Stewart deep edge lattice punch.
Thank you Anita for another lovely class.

A lovely page. I used to make flowers all the time for scrapbook pages. Not because I'm tight when it comes to buying embellishments, you understand!

ReplyDeleteLovely page xx
ReplyDeleteNow you've made me think! Yes, I'm going to give it a go ... A page with no patterned paper. I like that idea xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely page Karen! I love the swirls and the sunflowers with their shiny centres! I'm doing a blog comment challenge, 300 in 30 days, so popping in on old and new friends. Hope you are all Ok over in Eastbourne!!
ReplyDeleteSimple but really great!! After all the patterned paper I dealt with at the crop, this would be a good rest for the eyes.
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty. I wouldn't have realised there was no pattern paper unless you pointed it out x
