Today a blast from the past with some Christmas cards that I made last year and didn't get round to sharing on the blog. These were all very quick and easy cards to make as I used Penny Black stickers on them. I don't usually use them but found them half price in a sale so thought they would come in handy for when I was short on time for cardmaking. I stuck the stickers onto card stock first and then cut them out, this made it easier to get them exactly where I wanted them on the card and also meant I could raise them up on foam pads for some dimension.
The backgrounds papers are mainly Craft Creations and the sentiments are a mixture of Stampin' Up, Personal Impressions and Penny Black.
Lovely cards. I don't t think I could pick a favourite. I like your idea about using the stickers on cardstock & then cutting around them to use else where - I must give that a try.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I'd have the patience to fussy cut some of those stickers, but I learnt this technique in a class at a crop a long time ago. Very useful to make sure the positioning is just right on a LO. Lovely cards as always :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards :)
ReplyDeleteIt's such a great way to use stickers. I put mine on card too and I do enjoy cutting round them. Or sometimes if I'm daring I'll try and peel them back off the card if I think I can get away with it!
ReplyDeletefabulous cards, like the way you have used the stickers
