For these thank you cards I have fallen back on the very first set of stamps that I bought from Stampin' Up called Fresh Cuts. The main stamp in the set is this lovely background which is part script and part foliage. I then stamped out some butterflies using my favourite butterfly stamps from Hero Arts - 'Three Artistic Butterflies' - these had been discontinued but then were re-released for a limited time so I grabbed them - they have certainly earned a place in my downstairs unit where my most loved stamps live!! The butterflies were fussy cut (and yes I did lose the odd antennae!!) then were lightly glittered with Diamond Stickles which has a slight gold sheen to it.
The sentiment is by Stampin' Up and the sentiment mats were made with SU punches.
Whilst I was making these, I decided to make some of them into get well cards.
Tomorrow I will be back with the final part of this little series on Thank you cards.
Oh I do like these - such soft well combined colours. Yes as a get well card, one of these would certainly cheer the recipient.
ReplyDeletebeautiful cards - like the way you have used the sentiment punches :-)
