Anita's class back in June was using a set of papers from Studio 75 called Mr & Mrs Black, there were enough papers in the pack to make two lovely layouts. They were perfect for masculine layouts and I used photographs from our visit to the rail museum at Swindon last year.
We covered card with metallic tape, die cut it and then painted it with black acrylic paint. Once the paint had dried we then rubbed some of it back off with a scourer to give it a distressed look.
And the second layout was from the same trip -
I made Mr P sit in the little coffin that was the signallers' air raid shelter
Thank you Anita for a lovely class xx

Love the cog embellishments. I can remember covering cardboard shapes with foil, that had been previously "scrunched up", and rubbing black ink over the surface for an aged effect. That was back in primary school making props for a school pantomime.
ReplyDeleteThat 's just brilliant! I bet Mr. P is pleased with all that? :)
