Blogtober 2015 Day 19 - Me on Monday

There is still some Monday left, so time to go and give Sian a wave over at From High in the Sky

The weekend was all about getting ready for my next fundraiser - making more post it note pads, another production line of Christmas cards and some Birthday cards too.  There was also a lot of envelope stuffing - the charity's annual newsletter is ready for distribution and it is my job to see that all the Friends of Children with Cancer Fund get their own copy.  I was so busy stuffing and labelling that I never got a chance to take a photograph - so you will have to take my word for it, that at one stage we couldn't see the lounge floor.  They are now winging their way around the country via the post or in the hands of lovely people who do hand deliveries around the village for us.  I still found time for a visit to Mum and Dad on Saturday evening, where I did more work on my Halloween outfit and we passed our ever critical eye over Strictly Come Dancing.

Monday is all about catching up with laundry, firming up arrangements for our forthcoming Frozen North trip and more fundraising work - finished cards need inserts putting inside them and the charity stamp put on the back.

Wishing everyone a lovely week ahead and if you want to become a Me on Mondayer then pop over to give Sian a wave!!

  2. Wow: you make such a wonderful contribution to your charity :) Stuffing envelopes is one of those jobs which feels satisfying at the start..but not by the end (until you realise how many you've done, of course).

Your Frozen North trip sounds interesting. I'm looking forward to hearing more.

    Have a great week Karen

  3. Karen you do some amazing crafting with your cards & beading, so many talents. Ah yes that great laundry catch up. We have what you call smart meters and electricity has 3 time zones & I try to do all my laundry during the cheap time, which is after 7pm through the week & thankfully all day on Saturday/Sunday, but still sometimes it does get ahead of me & I'm do tired to do late day laundry. Hope you have a great week.
